We treat diabetes, endocrine, metabolic and nutritional diseases.  Click HERE a full list of conditions we treat. The diagnosis of endocrine and metabolic diseases is always a challenge. These abnormalities and diseases are manifested differently in every person. People are affected differently due to several factors: genetic background, age, sex, and physiological states such as pregnancy and other diseases present. These factors may change or modulate the appearance and quality of symptoms, at times giving a false appearance of a “normal” situation before any clinical symptoms (medically known as subclinical condition).

For your convenience, we provide the following diagnostic services on site:  Thyroid ultrasounds, abdominal ultrasounds, ultrasounds of the reproductive organs, ultrasounds of kidney and liver.  We also provide 72-hour continuous glucose monitoring to track your blood sugar readings continuously over a three-day period to assess trends and identify dangerously low levels.  Insulin pump training, carb counting and diabetes education are available as well.

The earlier the diagnosis, the better the success of treatment and the prognosis. Therefore, you should be treated as soon as possible to prevent further complications. If you are at risk or know of anyone at risk for endocrine or metabolic diseases, the best medicine is Prevention and/or early Diagnosis.

The office is located in a professional business park at 1667 North Clyde Morris Boulevard in Daytona Beach, near LPGA Boulevard and adjacent to the Twin Lakes Medical Center.  Currently, there is one endocrinologist and one nurse practitioner on staff to see patients Monday through Thursday.  We now have extended hours from 7:40 AM to 6:00 PM on those days.
